The Role
This full-time permanent role provides job security, and an opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development of your city! You will be required to carry out quality maintenance, servicing & repairs on superior machinery, and manage commissioning & training on products.
Key Duties
- Provide servicing, maintenance and repairs to machinery
- Prepare new machine build requirements
- Lead training on products to customers, on site location
- Demonstrate understanding of and ensure correct use of PPE, within the WHS regulations
- Conduct machine inspections and identify any required repairs
- Complete all required paperwork within set time frames
- Ensure quality assurance requirements are fulfilled at all times
- Provide training to Apprentices when required
What You Will Need
- Australian/New Zealand recognised trade qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Minimum of two years experience in a Service Technician role
- Drivers Licence
- Exceptional problem solving skills - ability to identify problems, apply logic and select the best solutions
- Great communication skills - both written and verbal
- A customer service mind-set with ability to build a strong rapport with local customers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Outstanding attention to detail
