Well-established mechanical service, repair and tyre retailer in Australia, recognised for its modern equipment, excellent working conditions, and outstanding customer service, is currently looking to hire qualified Light Vehicle Motor Mechanics for its Western Sydney workshop.   
  
Role

You are to perform scheduled maintenance services, detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts, dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanism and other components, test and adjust mechanical parts, inspect vehicles for road worthiness, repair and replace worn or defective parts, and tyre fitting.  

To be successful in this role, you also must have excellent customer service and people skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a productive team.

Ideal Candidate
  
•  Qualified Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic, with relevant locally issued trade certificate or its equivalent 
•  Currently holding (or eligible to secure) the NSW Motor Repairer Tradesperson Certificate
•  With at least 5 years' work experience in the auto retail service industry 
•  With valid driver's license 
•  With strong customer service and teamwork orientation  
•  With positive attitude and good work ethic 

Local candidates who are immediately available will be prioritized.  If and when required, TSS/482 work visa sponsorship may also be offered to outstanding international candidates onshore.  Qualified applicants on working holiday visas are likewise encouraged to apply.
