Lifestyle Bakery is a long established and market leading company providing a unique selection of high quality bread and baked goods.We are currently experiencing rapid growth across multiple market segments.
Our bakery located in Pooraka SA currently requires dedicated and motivated Qualified Bakers to join our friendly and close-knit team of professionals across our 24 hour bread manufacturing plant.
This position is responsible for manufacture and baking the range of products offered by Lifestyle Bakery. He/she is responsible for assisting in food quality and food safety within the manufacture of those products.
To be successful in this position it is essential that you have

- computer literate
- be proactive and have an inquisitive mind
- be able to function effectively in a team environment with or without supervision
- you must be willing to participate in the 24 hour roster Sunday through to Friday evening, rotating on the morning, afternoon and night shifts
- you must be fit and healthy
- have a current drivers licence
Competencies Required
- check cleanliness of equipment and operation premises before production runs to ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety
- check the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
- Accurately weigh up ingredients
- Must be capable to accurately mix ingredients to form dough or batter prior to depositing
- Prepare any fillings as required
- Capable of depositing accurately using our machinery
- Must have the ability to monitor the proving area
- Must be able to manage oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times
- Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and other products as required
- Must understand and apply quality control techniques
- Must be capable to inspect products for conformity with established operational standards

Experience/Qualification
- Certificate IV or higher in Bakery Studies is essential
Remuneration
- Level 5 of the Food Beverage and Tobacco Award
