Heavy Diesel Fitter

We are seeking skilled and dedicated mechanics (trade qualified) to commence work in this Oaky Creek based position. You will be working on anything from Heavy Machinery/Equipment to Trucks and Trailers. Not to be confused with Transport/Logistics vehicles.

You will be expected to have diagnosis, service and preventative maintenance experience.

Experience and Requirements

• Trade Qualified Mechanic (Heavy Vehicles)
• Experience with broad range of vehicles and equipment. This could include trucks, trailers and mobile operating equipment.
• Must have strong communication skills

Desirable Attributes

• Self-starters with previous exposure to mining camp style accommodation
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
• Looking for fit, energetic candidates
• Local candidates will be given preference

Working Conditions

• Up to 12 hour shifts
• 7 on 7 off roster
• Subsidized rentals available for families
• Mining style accommodation for individuals
