On behalf of our Client, Skildare is seeking a positive and proactive individual with a ‘customer-first’ mindset, to join their Service team.
This a permanent, full time opportunity to work in a fast- paced, challenging and rewarding role within a supportive team environment. There is also a state of the art facility to work in and competitive rates of pay.
The position:
- Conduct mechanical and repair service on new and used caravans;
- Be responsible for advanced modifications on new and used caravans including re-sheets, accessory fitting, timber replacement, water leak diagnostics and window replacements;
- Measure and fit custom annexe to all types of caravans;
- Understand and safely service gas systems managing associated risks;
- Understand 12V systems and be able to diagnose and trouble shoot;
- Provide fitment of accessories including, but not limited to, bag awnings, bed flies, annexes, roof racks, external tables, radios, air conditioners and bike racks;
- Coach and mentor less experienced technicians to ensure they learn on the job in a confident and safe manner; and
- Any other reasonable duties as required.
You will have:
- A broad range of technical skills;
- Experience and achievement in a similar role;
- Ability to work unsupervised, prioritise and meet set workloads;
- A practical mind with an exceptional eye for detail and respect for quality and understand and respect customer requirements;
- Ability to follow instructions and work productively within a team environment;
- Input in all WHS training activities and processes.
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant trade preferred, but not essential.
