They have multiple opportunities available for Radar Technicians to join their team to assist with a major project as it moves from acquisition to sustainment.
Your new role
Your new responsibilities will include supporting the installation, testing, maintaining and problem resolution of radar systems, communication radio equipment and ICT Infrastructure tools. You will be assisting in product design, risk mitigation as well as other systems engineering activities throughout the lifecycle of the project.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must hold at minimum technician certifications with proven proficiencies in electronic, electrical or communications. Experience in Radar Systems installation and maintenance, as well as system and bench level electronics troubleshooting would be looked upon favourably. Further, you will have extensive knowledge of electrical and electronic systems and radio communication principles. Ideally, you will have past experience within an Aerospace or Defence setting. As this is a Defence environment opportunity you must currently have or be eligible to obtain an NV1 Australian Defence Clearance
