Then we are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator looking to be part of a diverse professional team, with a drive to succeed.

Due to our recent business expansion we have identified the need for an experienced Electrical Estimator – Estimating Manager (EM). This position is considered a Senior Management Position that will have significant impact on the growth and direction of the business. The EM will report directly to the General Manager and will work with other Senior Managers in a collaborative environment.

The following will form part of the EM’s responsibilities;

•        Identifying opportunities
•        Preparing Expressions of Interest
•        Tender Risk Assessments
•        Bid Preparation
•        Supplier and Sub-Contractor Vetting
•        Bid Submissions
•        Contract Negotiations
•        Estimating and Cost Reporting
•        Forecasting and Budgets
•        Managing all aspects of the estimating requirements of the Business.

The successful applicant will need to be able to show a high level of professional experience in the following areas;

•        Effective and Efficient Communication
•        Leadership within a Diverse Team
•        Lead Conversion
•        Contract Negotiation
•        Estimating and Bid Development for Designed Works as well as Design and Construct Tenders
•        Understanding of Australian Standards and Legislation
•        Electrical Qualifications (Trade Certificate and/or Degree)
•        Electrical and Communications Construction including On Site Risks
•        Estimating Software Packages and the full Microsoft Office Suite
•        Exceeding KPI’s and Targets
