Chandler Macleod is currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor who is experienced in the mining sector.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team as a professional working on a 8/6 roster - FIFO from Adelaide or Local to Roxby Downs
About the Position
Supervises the execution of field modifications and small projects in accordance with the Modifications & Small Projects portfolio and relevant processes, standards and performance targets for HSE, cost, quality & schedule.
Other duties include:
• Supervising safe execution of construction and commissioning activities for modifications and operations projects
• Ensures all project execution works are being completed in line with the necessary safety standards, processes and requirements
• Performs regular evaluation of risks and field verification of critical controls relevant to these activities
• Ensures compliance of the Modifications and Small Projects team in relation to business requirements, legislation and other external standards.
About the Candidate
• Trade background qualified (current electrical licence is essential for this role)
• Extensive experience in supervising the execution of site projects in either mining or heavy industrial or major infrastructure industries
• Previous experience working in an underground environment highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience in construction management (including engagement and management of consultants)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Previous experience leading a team through change with proven ability to coach and receive feedback
• Exposure in identifying risk and finding outcomes
• Effective analysis and decision making abilities.
