Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking Electrical Fitters with industrial experience for an ongoing employment opportunity in a leading locomotive parts and services company. Located near Redbank Station, you will be responsible for the maintenance of locomotives and rollingstock electrical components.
In this role, your duties may include:
- Removal of DC traction motors from rollingstock
- Fault finding and repairing traction motors (if experienced)
- Assisting fitters with mechanical maintenance duties as required
- Installations and testing of electrical components
In order to be successful for this role, you will possess the following qualities:
- Relevant Electrical Trade Qualification
- Locomotive or Rail experience is NON-essential but highly regarded
- Heavy industrial maintenance experience, or previous work on traction motors is highly regarded
- High values in safety and following procedures
