About the role
We have an exciting full time opportunity for a highly motivated and energetic Estimator to join our commercial projects team. Working within our fast paced company, you will need to be proactive, forward thinking and motivated. This is a great opportunity for the right person to be part of the future growth of the business and develop into an integral person within the company.
The team is close knit, friendly, and supportive. The environment is fast paced and things can change at any moment.
Estimates are up to $4M in project size.
This is a permanent role for the right candidate and in turn you will have exposure to some of Sydney's elite building projects.
Aspects of work include but not limited to:
Electrical, Dry fire detection, Access Control, Intercom, Satellite, MATV, Fibre, Data systems.
As an estimator you will be required to:
Do take-offs & Bills of quantities
Preparation of tender program
Communicate and negotiate with Sub-contractors and Head Contractors.
Preparation and letting of contracts

Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
An Electrical background
Exceptional Computer Skills, MS Office, Plan Swift.
Minimum of 3 years experience in estimating commercial projects
Excellent verbal and written skills
Exposure to D&C projects
Experience with take offs & BOQs
A genuine passion for the electrical industry
Having completed or completing an electrical estimating course would also be desirable.
