Our Production is located in Western Suburbs of Brisbane in Seventeen Mile Rocks 20 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. Our company is well known for producing quality exclusive cakes and breads for our three shops and multiple wholesale customers.   The business has been established for more than 25 years priding itself on an excellent reputation for our royal cakes, custom-made and celebration cakes, bakery products and exceptional customer service.

 We will be opening additional shops in the near future and require dedicated exciting people to join our expanding team.

We are currently searching for a highly skilled, qualified Baker to join our team as a long term employee.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • ensuring quality of products meet  established  standards

  • experienced in Rye and sourdough's

  • be creative

  • monitoring oven temperatures and bread appearance to determine baking times

  • unloading ovens and arranging de-panning and cooling of bread

  • baking of mixed dough' s and pastries

  • decorating baked goods

  • checking the cleanliness and operation of equipment and premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

  • maintenance and cleaning of equipment

  • Monitor cost control without compromising quality and standard of food

The position requires a very passionate, confident and energetic professional with 100% commitment. The successful candidate will possess the skills in all level of dough's, rye, sour, white and wholemeal in a high volume environment on a daily basis with a low level of supervision.

The successful candidate will require an exceptional eye for detail and have the demonstrated with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role

This position will require reporting to the Head Baker expect  to lead of a small team of apprentices with strong communication skills, along with the ability to not only work autonomously when required but additionally as part of a team.

This is a casual position with view to full time ; award rates will apply and can be negotiated.
