The Role
We are seeking an experience security professional for a full time Security Supervisor role based at The Alfred Hospital in Inner City Melbourne
Spotless has a long term contract to deliver Security Services to The Alfred Hospital, having been on site for 14 years. We support the Alfred Hospital through provision of a professional and customer focussed security service.

Our ideal Security Supervisor can demonstrate a history of leadership and team mentorship, providing effective guidance and support through the demands of a dynamic service environment. At the Alfred, you will have responsibility for a team of dedicated professionals, all engaged in providing exceptional service.
Furthermore, you will supervise the training and compliance of the Team Leaders and Security Officers to ensure that you and your team achieve the objectives of both Spotless and the Client. Your Leadership experience will have prepared you to maintain a proactive industrial relations environment and you will take an active role in performance management plus encourage your team to liaise directly with the Department Management on any personal or work related issues.
You will represent the Alfred Hospital and Spotless as a professional committed partner, establishing and maintaining existing productive relationships with all key stakeholders. By communicating effectively with clients you will foster a true environment of trust and continuous improvement within the Service Line.
Finally, you will take part in direction and provision of operational goals and requirements. This ensures that we deliver the highest quality service to the client at all times. By leading the team in the provision of quality outcomes and monitoring their performance you will ensure that all appropriate reporting is carried out as per the requirements of the Client and the Company. You will perform other tasks as directed by the Security Manager, or the Senior Managers at the Site.
Skills and Experience
To be considered you must hold:
- A Valid Victorian Security License
- A Working with Children Check
- A Current Victorian Driver’s License
- Be Willing to undertake pre-employment police check
As the successful applicant, you must demonstrate:
- High Level of Experience in Customer Service
- High level of experience in Leadership and Management
- Intermediate level of computer skills
- Thorough understanding of appropriate legislation
