COMPANY:
Working for a market leader for innovation in semi trailer design and for offering a complete range of semi trailers for sale or rental, which is backed up by their highly skilled servicing and parts division. They are a family-owned business with a proud 30 year old history of quality and innovation.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Assisting mechanics to maintain, service and repair heavy vehicles
- Assisting fabricators/boilermakers
- Operate workshop equipment safely
- Identify, control and report workplace hazards
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
- Liaise with Workshop Supervisors about job status and workshop priorities
MUST HAVE:
- Experience in a trade or trade assistant role will be highly regarded but not essential
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to work unsupervised, show initiative and be self motivated
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- Current driver's license
- A forklift ticket is desirable but not essential
