The Infrastructure Services team at Mt Buller Mt Stirling Resort Management is accountable for maintaining all aspects of the built assets of the resort including accommodation and plant.
We seek an enthusiastic Carpenter/Building Maintenance specialist to join our small team. Carpentry is a key element of this role, duties will also include managing other trades under contract such as electrical and plumbing. This role is a hands-on position and may have other team members to supervise from time to time.
Responsibilities include the implementation of minor works and small projects including capital works projects and numerous other maintenance activities.
To be considered for this role you are required to have a trade qualification or equivalent industry experience, particularly in carpentry. You must have prior experience in building maintenance, construction projects and oversight of contract based works delivery.
In addition, you will be expected to have:
- A current Victorian Drivers licence (medium rigid or higher endorsement desirable)
- A current First Aid Level 2
- The ability to work independently
- Experience working cooperatively in a small team
- The ability to plan and prioritise works program, small projects and tasks
- Willingness to develop other team members
Team members are required to undertake rostered duties on weekends, after hours and public holidays and to respond to out of hours callouts.

This position is classified Band 4 under the RMB EBA with a salary of $69K - $72K including superannuation. Applications close Friday 13th July 2018.
