Diesel Fitters
Rockhampton Workshop Based
Our client who supplies within the Mining Resource industry are globally recognised for their high level service offerings. They are now seeking experienced Diesel Fitters for an immediate start, to be part of their large Rockhampton based workshop.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Demonstrated product knowledge on varied heavy mobile equipment on CATERPILLAR will be highly regarded with Dozers, Graders or Trucks
- Component change outs on all CATERPILLAR site equipment
- Perform the repair and maintenance on CATERPILLAR equipment as directed in accordance with servicing and maintenance systems documentation.
- You will work collaboratively with OEM towards delivering high-quality solutions and results
- Applicants with an excellent work ethic, a strong focus on safety along with a high degree of dependability, reliability and dedication to providing quality workmanship
- Working on Web SIS and ET
To be successful in the role we will need:
- Relevant Trade Qualification in Heavy Diesel Fitting or equivalent
- Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Be available to work any days and afternoon shifts with a minimum of 10 -12 hour shifts, overtime is available
- Demonstrated experiences on either CATERPILLAR ancillary and truck equipment
- Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment
