About the opportunity
Due to growth our Sydney workshop is currently seeking an experienced and results driven Spray Painter / Trades Assistant to join our team located at our Sydney branch.
Within this role you will work alongside experienced Technicians assisting them in their day to day duties. You will also be involved in; disassembly, cleaning and inspection of CAT equipment, movement/storage of plant and equipment, carrying out minor maintenance and repairs and other associated tasks.
Our branch will be relocating to a brand new state of the art facility at Casula in July 2018.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a similar role in a mechanical industry
- Nationally accredited Forklift ticket
- Crane and/or Dogman’s ticket
- Panel beating / Spray Painting experience
- Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment is highly desirable
- Dedicated to maintaining and promoting safe work practices
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role with mechanical aptitude is highly desirable
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
Desirable Criteria
- Welding qualification or experience will be highly regarded
- Exposure to hydraulic component repairs
You will have a proactive approach to your work with demonstrated experience working in high performing teams and have a methodical approach to problem solving.
