We are looking for skilled and motivated Level 3 and Level 4 Technicians for our new Jaguar Land Rover facility in Cheltenham.
The Role
Reporting to the After Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing Jaguar Land Rover motor vehicles and related mechanical components in the workshop.
- Carry out all repairs including engine, transmission and differentials
- Repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components (referring to service manuals as required)
- Perform scheduled maintenance service (i.e oil changes, lubricants, tune-ups) to achieve smoother running of vehicles
- Prepare detailed service and failure records
- Advise on warranty claims and prepare reports on unrecoverable costs associated with car service
- Inspect vehicles and perform roadworthy tests - if licenced
About You
- Land Rover / Jaguar Level 3/4 qualification or equivalent qualification with other brands
- Strong mechanical aptitude & knowledge – previous experience (at least 5 years) in a mechanical role
- Ability to meet deadlines & carry out instructions as required in a timely manner
- Able to comply with manufacturer and dealership repair processes, policies and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment & contribute to dealership goals/targets
