We are looking for a professional Island Safety and Security Officer to ensure the protection of all personnel and property on Hamilton Island, providing a safe and secure environment for guests and residents.

About the Role

• Full time permanent position
• Live on island
• Report to Aviation Security & Compliance Manager
• Island wide patrols
• Crowd control and assist managers as required
• Traffic management – respond to motor vehicle accidents/breakdowns; issue fines for infringements
• Respond to staff lock outs, alarm activations, lost/found property
• Conduct drug and alcohol testing
• First responder to those needing medical attention
• Office administration

About You

• Valid driver licence
• Security Provider Licence – Security Officer (Unarmed)
• Security Provider Licence – Crowd Controller
• RSA
• Advanced Resuscitation
• First Aid
• Eligible for an Aviation Security ID Card
• High level of integrity and ability to work independently
