Your duties will involve services on various HVAC plant & equipment, general electrical work and associated electrical systems. Essential to this role is a good electrical and/or mechanical understanding and communication skills.
HVAC-R Equipment including Installation, maintenance and breakdowns on –
-Split systems
- Package units
- Cool room's and Freezer room's
- Ice machine's
- Display cabinets
- Glycol systems
- DX and CHW FCU's \ AHU's
- Cooling Towers
- Chillers – Power-Pax, Daikin, Trane, Carrier
- Fire services associated with HVAC
- APC cabinet coolers
- Mechanical plumbing
Electrical duties include -
- RCD testing and maintenance
- BMS maintenance and breakdowns
- Emergency light maintenance and services
- Essential and mechanical switchboard maintenance and repairs
Requirements
- A strong knowledge of building mechanical services
- Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment.
- Demonstrate fault finding abilities and present solutions.
- Reliable, self-motivated and well presented.
- Clear verbal and written communication; word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Able to liaise with clients on the condition of their equipment
- Experience with controls - DDC & BMS would be an advantage, but is not essential.
- Willing to undergo a police check and working with children's check
- Available to work full time (through the hours of 8.00am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday) and some reasonable overtime if required.
- Must have an Queensland electrical license.
- A drivers licence is essential.
- Strong commitment to safe work practices is essential.

TRAINING
Green APS conduct in house and formal training to ensure all staff are able to competently and professionally work on the above range of equipment.
