Our client Norship is a growing and progressive organisation with opportunities for career advancement for high performing employees.
Norship Manufacturing in Cairns, QLD is seeking a trade qualified, self-motivated CNC machinist who is confident to program and run Fanuc controlled lathes and/or Heidenhain controlled milling machines. Relocation assistance may be offered to the successful applicant.
We are seeking an experienced CNC operator willing to take ownership of their role and work autonomously to complete their tasks.
The ability to use Mastercam software would be highly advantageous.
A current drivers licence and transport is a must, a Forklift licence is also an advantage.
This role requires reading and interpreting of drawings, setup, programming and machining of a variety of components and materials primarily for the mining and marine industries.
Overtime will be on offer during times of high work volume.
The successful candidate must undergo and pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.
