Orontide is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Naval Defence, Marine and Commercial Industries.
As a result of the company's continued growth, an excellent opportunity will become available for suitably qualified and experienced Painter/ Blasters to join the Orontide Team on the Leinster Shaft project.
This is a FIFO based role.

To be successful for this position, you must have the following:
- UHP Assistant/ Operator ticket (Desirable)
- Previous experience working underground will be highly regarded
- Previous experience working on Leinster will be highly regarded
- Confined Space Entry
- Working at heights
- Gas Test Atmospheres
- Senior First Aid
- Section 44 Mines Safety and Inspections Act 1994
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket
- Forklift (LF) ticket
To succeed in this position, you will need to have industry related experience within similar positions, a strong work ethic and strong safety focus.
The ability to carry out work with minimal supervision, a keen and enthusiastic approach to your work and willingness to work over time will help you ensure success in these roles. In addition you would be required to be medically fit and able to pass drug & alcohol testing.
