Complete Plumbing and Fire Services are a well established, growing service and installation company
We are seeking an experienced Fire Services Tester to service our expanding contract base across the greater Illawarra region.
This role will involve performing scheduled inspection & testing of fire systems and related equipment in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards and building codes, defect reporting and providing detail for quotation and rectification works.
Within your role you will be testing the following equipment:
- Fire Detection & Evacuation Systems
- Emergency and Exit light systems
- Sprinkler systems
- Hydrant systems
- Hose reels
- Fire Booster pumps – Diesel and electric
- Portable Fire Extinguishers & Fire Blankets
- Fire & smoke doors
- Passive Systems
Qualifications & Experience:
- Ideal candidates will have a technical background and understanding
- Must have current National Police check (or able to get one), and a White Card
- Must hold a full drivers license with no restrictions
- Flexibility to work after-hours and some early/late shifts in line with client requirements
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fantastic Customer service focus
- Organized and self motivated
- Ability to use specific software and job reporting apps, eg SimPRO
- Candidates with previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
- FPAS / Cert 3 In Fire a great advantage
