Digrite are looking for an experienced Workshop Leading Hand / Supervisor to join their team in Welshpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and allocating work to the Service Department Team;
- Supporting the Service Department Team by completing servicing and mechanical repairs, as required;
- Communicating with customers regarding service requirements and warranty matters;
- Scheduling service intervals and coordinating timing for the completion of jobs;
- Semi-diagnosing faults / requests when machines are dropped off;
- Liaising with the Parts / Attachments Manager regarding required parts and service requirements;
- Checking on jobs in progress and ensuring quality assurance;
- Managing equipment and tools while maintaining a clean work area; and
- Providing direction and assistance to mechanics and apprentices.
The successful candidate must have:
- A relevant trade qualification;
- Experience working as a Workshop Leading Hand / Supervisor;
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Proven supervisory skills;
- A can-do attitude and be a self-starter;
- Product and industry knowledge (desirable); and
- A current driver's licence and forklift licence.
