My client is a highly respected manufacturing facility in Western Sydney.
They have secured a long term contract for inspection of heavy engineering components and are seeking a QA inspector from a high precision mechanical engineering background.
Skills that are requisite to succeed in this role include;
- A Toolmaking trade background or Cert IV Mech Eng or equivalent precision Ffitting experience
- Ability to comprehensively read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience in using a variety of measuring equipment including gauges
- Ability to meticulously document and follow inspection procedures and process
- Be reliable, efficient and have a sound work ethic and attitude
This is a mid to long-term role. Initially 38 hours per week casual it has a very real opportunity to become permanent. It is perceived that the successful applicant will be a pivotal part of the company’s expansion process and success in the industry for years to come. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and be discussed at the time of interview.
