Successful Engineering company based in the South East suburbs, specialising in the design and manufacture of Automation equipment has been in business for over 50 years and now has a vacancy for a A Grade Electrician trades person.
This is a new position that will involve various tasks. It will be necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand. There may also be some Interstate travel from time to time.
Reporting to the Workshop manager, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) being responsible for Industrial Switchboard wiring, Fault Finding and Trouble Shooting. This is a company that manufactures special purpose machinery and needs an electrician to manage the wiring side. You may also get involved in minor workshop Maintenance.
TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Trade qualifications.
- A Grade Electrical Licence
- Ability and expeirence with machine build and wiring
- Experience with industrial control wiring
- Workshop maintenance exp
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
- PLC background is highly advantageous
