Coxons Group are seeking workshop assistants / radiator repairers to join our team in Newcastle (formerly Natrad Newcastle).

Coxons Group specialise in the maintenance and supply of mining, transport, industrial and automotive cooling components and heat transfer solutions.  Coxons Group are the largest radiator repair specialist on Australia’s east coast with workshops in Rockhampton (head office), Newcastle and Townsville employing over 35 staff across all locations.

Role Summary:
The position is responsible for the service and overhaul of radiators, aftercoolers and oil coolers ranging from automotive to mining components. Duties can include washing, buffing, sandblasting, painting, strip and assembly, pressure testing, welding and soldering.

Applicant Requirements:

• Mechanically minded and able to use hand and power tools
• Ability to follow procedures and directions from supervisors.
• Able to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong work ethic and committed to high quality workmanship.
• Excellent health with a capacity to perform manual work.
• Drivers license.
• Forklift license an advantage.
• Able to work overtime when required.
