About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join our successful production team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be working as part of a dynamic, friendly and supportive team, you will be provided with the systems, structure and training you need in order to succeed in your role and continue to develop your career.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in the manufacturing industry and a genuine willingness to learn about our custom-designed joinery products and manufacturing processes, with the goal of becoming an expert in this highly rewarding and specialised field.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Produce AutoCAD shop drawings in an accurate and timely manner
- Set out gaming rooms and TAB's in our specialised manufacturing module
- Development of the AutoCAD/Microvellum product catalogue
- Liaise with suppliers for pricing and procurement
- Liaise with the Sales & Marketing and Production teams on a regular basis
The key selection criteria for this position are:
- Previous experience in drafting using AutoCAD
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Background in the Manufacturing Industry
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to work to tight schedules
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Microvellum experience is not required but advantageous
