What is the role?
Our apprentices are trained in all the skills required to install, service, repair and modernise lifts, escalators and moving walkways. If you join our program you will rotate across our business to help you decide what you want to specialise in after completing your apprenticeship. You will gather a variety of experience as you become involved in complex repairs, trouble-shooting and work on construction sites where you will be trained in all aspects of installing new lifts and escalators.
 
As an apprentice, you will get to work closely with our customers and develop exceptional customer service skills. One of the many bonuses is that we will provide you with the chance to work full time and study at TAFE / Trade School to receive your trade qualification in Electrotechnology Certificate III.
 
To be successful in securing a position in our apprenticeship program, you will have:
  • Completed school studies to year 10 or above and a Certificate II in Electrotechnology
  • Excellent safety awareness
  • Hands on approach to enjoy mechanical and technical work
  • An interest in working with electrical systems
  • Good communication and the ability to work in a team
  • Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic
Previous work experience will also be highly regarded.
