Forsythes Recruitment are currently seeking skilled Road Works labourers for multiple roles with government clients based in the local Newcastle area.
Starting out of the Waratah depot and reporting to either the Works or Construction supervisors the successful candidates will be assisting crews in the ongoing maintenance of local infrastructure including roads, footpaths and public recreational areas.
The roles available will be both ongoing and ADHOC basis to cover extra work loads and leave requirements.
The successful applicant will have the following:
- Current drivers licence
- OHS white card
- Blue and Yellow traffic control
- Minimum 12 months experience
Highly Desirable:
- MR (or greater) licence
- Cert III in Civil Construction
- Extensive pipe laying experience
- Concreting and formwork experience
- Plant operating experience
- Experience operating power tools
