Mineral Resources Carbonart subsidiary has established a carbon fibre manufacturing facility with the core focus of manufacturing structural components for mining and mining construction components using automated robotic technology.
We are currently seeking Workshop Boilermakers with experience with high precision, high tolerance fabrication to join our Bibra Lake team on a Permanent basis.
The role:
Reporting to the Workshop Manufacturing Manager, the main focus of the role will be to ensure a high quality production of carbon composite materials to meet the team targets and deadlines as required and directed by the workshop team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum two years working with Hardox or similar materials
- Experience with high precision welding & fabrication to high tolerances
- Minimum of two years' experience with haulpak tray fabrication (desirable)
- Understanding and compliance of the ASTM standards - Ability to weld to AS1554
- Setup and preparation of jobs with the ability to read drawings and production schedules
- Strong MIC welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings
- Commitment to working safely
