About the role.
Due to increasing demand, an exciting opportunity exists to join our Melbourne Assembly team located in Altona North. As a Assembler / Shopfitter/Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for the manufacture of a wide variety of signage. Supporting the Assembly team and reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your diverse range of duties will include:
- manufacture and/or fit-out of signage in house;
- processing of jobs with both accuracy and quality in mind while committing to short deadlines; and
- various other duties as required.
About you.
In order to succeed in this role, we are seeking a motivated and experienced professional who encompasses the following skills and capabilities:
- understanding of substrates and materials;
- ability to read drawings;
- attention to detail;
- prepared to work overtime as required;
- previous experience in the signage industry will be highly regarded;
- ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team; and
- willingness to learn and develop.
With a minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, you will add value in this multi-faceted role through your positive and passionate nature, ensuring an innovative approach in all your efforts.
