RYCO Hydraulics is an Australian owned company, manufacturing quality hydraulic hose, couplings and adaptors. The Company, founded in 1946, is now a global operation with plants and warehouses in Australia and New Zealand, USA, China, Malaysia, Singapore and Europe.
Objectives of position:
The primary objective is to supply RYCO products in accordance with the relevant contract terms. In addition, provide premier customer service by responding to all inbound customer contacts relating to customer orders, inquiries, and complaints. The Mobile Hose Technician is also responsible for ensuring that both customers and staff are trained in the safe and competent use of RYCO equipment and products.
The duties of the position are:
- Provide technical service and troubleshooting support
- Repair and replace hydraulic hoses at customer sites as required
- Count and replace RYCO products on site as required
- Maintain hose rooms at sites in a safe and tidy state
- Pick, pack customer orders and complete relevant paperwork as required by the customer, the contract and RYCO
- Identify sales opportunities through product cross selling and optimization
- Ensure all activities are completed in a timely manner and liaise closely with other key stakeholders within the organization, as well as external and internal customers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is achieved
- Provide great customer service with a high degree of professionalism and presentation
- Work in a professional and safe manner at all time and maintain all relevant mine inductions
You must have:
- Strong knowledge of, and experience in, hydraulic hose and fittings
- Broad exposure to service/repair of hydraulic and pneumatic Industrial/Mobile equipment
- Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current driver's license, preferably an MR or HR type
- Logical problem solving skills
- Good organisation, presentation and customer service skills
