About the business and the role

Pirtek is an international success story specialising in mobile "on site" service and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hoses. Our busy hydraulic centre in South West WA, is currently seeking to appoint the fulltime position of a Mobile Service Technician.

As a Mobile Service Technician you will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality service to our customers. You will become a passionate and energetic team member with excellent skills in communication. The job will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers. You will report to the  Bunbury Centre Manager.

Skills and experience

Strong consideration will be given to applicants who show evidence of the following;

• A trade / mechanical background - Light Vehicle Mechanic and Mechanical fitters preferred
• Be able to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices
• Have a strong understanding of customer service,
• Good numeracy, verbal and written skills,
• Have a strong work ethic and pride in workmanship,
• Be a team player
• Prioritise to meet deadlines
• Ability to problem solve
• Understand OHS and Safe Work Practices,
• Possess a current LR Class Driver's Licence
• Flexibility with working hours is a pre-requisite
• Available to work every 4th week on the 24/7 after-hours roster
• Required to live within 50km of our Service Centre at Bunbury
• Full training in the PIRTEK system will be provided to the successful applicant
• Opportunity is available to earn above base wages
