We are a large full service print company located on Brisbane's Northside, specializing in all types of signage from large run poster campaigns through to construction site signage, car wraps and flyers.
We are now seeking a preferably experienced Print Operator/Finisher to join our busy team. You will be on a rotating morning/afternoon shift mainly operating printing and finishing equipment but the position may also involve packing, install, dispatch, machine maintenance and other warehouse duties.
The successful applicant will ideally have: (Key selection criteria)
• Recent experience in a digital print or signage position
• Ability to interpret job sheets and work unsupervised
• Knowledge of computer systems / programs
• Available to work day shift or afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday
• Ability to work under pressure and work alongside your fellow team members.
• Ability to multi task
• Must have a good eye for detail
• Physically fit as this is a hands on position
• Current manual driver's license
• Current forklift license (preferred)
Your main duties will include:
- Running printers
- Running finishing equipment
- Setting up machinery
- Packing jobs for despatch
- Machine maintenance and up keep
- Installing signage
- General warehouse duties and cleaning
