About the role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and qualified individual to join our team in North Plympton, SA. The primary responsibilities of this position is to service and maintain exit and emergency lighting and equipment according to the relevant Australian Standards whilst exceeding customer service expectations at every available opportunity.

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Maintaining, Installation and Repairs of exit and emergency lighting.
  • Complying with Company and client Welfare, Health & Safety and Environment policies and procedures
  • Manage and maintain all assigned company property, including documents, tools, equipment and vehicles
  • Report work progress and performance by completing productivity key performance indicator (KPI) reports
  • Recommend improved business processes by actively engaging in quality programs
  • Comply with all Customer requirements, as defined by the Customer contract
  • Work reasonable overtime to meet the company’s contractual requirements, including weekends and working away

 

To be successful in this role you MUST have:

  • Unrestricted Electrical Trade qualification and proven experience in the same or similar electrical field.
  • Proven experience in an autonomous role where targets were set and met.
  • Previous experience in driving process compliance.
  • High standard of written and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical skills in reviewing activities and identifying key actions to deliver continuous improvement.
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
  • Up to date product and industry knowledge, and an understanding of where to locate the relevant information.
  • A solid knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards.

In addition to having an excellent work ethic and time management skills, you will be a motivated and technically switched on individual who is able to demonstrate highly developed customer service and communication skills.
