Reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Manager you will manage onsite trades staff, manage scope of works including planned maintenance schedules and minor works, and ensure QA policies, permitry processes and procedures are adhered to. This is a residential, NON FIFO role.
Specific duties will include ensuring contract obligations and site safety procedures are adhered to, reporting of hazards and ensuring all equipment is well maintained.
You will manage and supervise maintenance standards in accordance with the scope of works and the maintenance roster. You will complete maintenance reports, monthly reports and ad hoc reports as requested by management all the while maintaining a high level of service and client satisfaction.
The nature of this role requires you to have ample experience managing teams of Trade personnel within a large corporate organisation coupled with demonstrated ability to deliver consistent service and meet contractual targets according to budget constraints and the scope of work.
You will have an appropriate building and or trade qualifications coupled with demonstrated supervisor experience in the building/facilities maintenance industry.
You will have,comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements, regulations and standards, a proven record in financial and budget management and broad people management skills including performance management.
