About Us: 

We are currently looking for a qualified Shopfitter - Site Leading Hand

The ideal candidate will have finished their trade and have extensive experience on shop fitting projects as a tradesman. They will be comfortable with co-ordinating trades and understand the commitment required and productivity expectations on completion of GKR Interiors projects.

This is a full time position 38 hrs per week (Overtime available during busy periods)

The successful applicant will:

• Have at least three years experience in a similar role 
• Be a qualified tradesman with a proven track record of project work and on-site installation. Provide trade guidance and assistance as part of a working team
• Communicate with the Project Manager, and ensure that deadlines are met
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment as well taking charge of your own working environment
• The ability to work away from home when required. (This could be one night or a couple of weeks, depending on the location and duration of the project)
• Have good oral and written communication skills. Good computer skills will be an advantage
• Be able to interpret architectural plans and be able to follow program scheduling and organise their time efficiently
• Must have neat personal presentation and good hygiene, as you will be the face of the company on site and dealing with our clients
• The successful applicant will be eligible for a car allowance, if they have an applicable vehicle
• Wages negotiable on experience

• OHS white card (General Construction Induction Card)
