We are currently seeking a Qualified A Grade Electrician to join our team.
Pro Install Electrical P/L is a small yet fast growing electrical contracting company working in a variety of fields including commercial, telecommunication works and NBN works in Melbourne and across Victoria.
The successful applicant must have at least 3 years experience as a qualified electrician across a range of disciplines and be confident in leading jobs.
Applicants will have the following skills:
- Strong leadership qualities; competent managing work sites independently from start to finish
- High level problem-solving skills
- At least 3 years of experience as a qualified electrician
- Ability to follow direction and apply attention to detail
- Confidence in training, leading and mentoring apprentices
- Ability to work well within the team and unsupervised
- Strong understanding of HSE requirements
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a range of jobs from ongoing projects to small service jobs
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Organise material and equipment required for tasks
- Liaising appropriately with project managers to ensure the highest standard of work is achieved
- Making decisions creatively and effectively to overcome challenges that may arise
Applicants require the following training:
- A Grade and ACMA licence
- Red/White Card
- Australian drivers licence
- Own transport
- Hand tools (specialty tools provided)
- First aid/CPR training
- National Police Check
- EWP and/or working at heights (preferred)
- The ability to work autonomously with strong safety and work ethics
- Undertaking industrial, commercial and residential maintenance, repairs and installations
- Job management
- Day to day management of apprentices
