Our client has over 40 years experience in providing solutions in all fields of fluid handling and customised plumbing solutions. Due to growth and to meet demand there is a position available for a qualified and experienced  boiler maker/fabricator. 

About the Role
Our client is looking for a full time, fully qualified and experienced Boilermaker Fabricator to work in all areas of steel & stainless steel fabrication. In this position you will be working in all areas of steel fabrication and will be working with light to medium plate, sheet steel and other pre-formed sections, weld and generally fabricate steel and stainless steel into parts, sections or sub-assemblies including stainless steel pipe manifolds in accordance with written instructions and technical drawings. Along with this you will be required to work in assembling pump and motor/engine sets including pipework and valves.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Steel fabrication
• Working with light to medium plate, sheet steel and other pre-formed sections
• Weld and generally fabricate steel and stainless steel into parts, sections or sub-assemblies including stainless steel pipe manifolds in accordance with written instructions and technical drawings. 
• Assembling pump and motor/engine sets including pipework and valves.

To be successful for this role you must have the following:

•  MINIMUM TRADE SKILL REQUIRED: Engineering Fabrication Trade   Certificate III (or prior equivalent).
•  MIG and TIG welding skills are essential.
•  Experience with various grades of steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
•  Experience in light and medium fabrication
•  Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
•  High attention to detail and accuracy
•  Ability to carry out other metal fabrication duties: marking out, grinding,   oxy/plasma cutting, sawing, guillotining, drilling, painting
•  Drivers licence
