• Based in the northern region of Tasmania

We are seeking an energetic and team orientated Field Service Diesel Mechanic to be based in the northern region of Tasmania to service and repair equipment on our customers' site’s.

As the successful applicant you will be required to perform repairs, maintenance and inspections on a range of assets from light fleet to heavy vehicles and several earthmoving machines. You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties in a customer focused manner. You will be driven and highly motivated. You must be able to work in a safety conscious environment.

As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:

• Be trade qualified with appropriate relevant experience
• Manual HR license
• Perform effective fault diagnosis on a variety of equipment
• Ability to work unsupervised when required
• Possess the capacity and willingness to be "hands on"
• Be experienced in scheduling servicing of both passenger and heavy vehicles
• Carry out scheduled maintenance in a timely and effective manner
• Have excellent organisational, communication and reporting skills
• Demonstrate a sound awareness of OH&S management principles
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen
