Damms Auto & Diesel Repairs, is the local retailer for McCormick, Kuhn, Agrowdrill, Aitchison, Lely and John Deere products in the Upper Murray area. The Upper Murray region is located approx 120KMS North East of Albury Wodonga and is located in the foothills of the snowy mountains area.
We specialize in the sales, service, spare parts and finance of all products ranging from agricultural and compact tractors, harvesting equipment, sowing & soil tillage equipment.
We also offer sales, service and spare parts for the high quality range of Husqvarna products from our Corryong store.
Due to continued growth we are seeking to employ an additional qualified Agricultural / Diesel Mechanic at our Corryong Site
Key responsibilities and qualities for the role;
- Self motivated and driven
- Trade Qualified or Equivalent
- Ability to produce a high quality of work
- Servicing, minor & major repairs to McCormick, John Deere, Case, Ford/New Holland & other industry related products
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Safety minded at all times
- Desire to continually learn and develop your skills via on the job and formal factory training
- Current drivers license (heavy rigid desirable but not essential)
Ideally you will have heavy agricultural machinery experience, however people from other relevant fields with a positive attitude, an ability and desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
The position will be workshop based initially to ensure your knowledge of our products and procedures before advancing to field service. Due to our customer demand it is envisaged that the successful applicant would advance to field service within short term.
