Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
L Arthur Transport Services is a family owned and operated business that have an immediate start employment opportunity for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
The hours are 40 hrs per week from our location in West Melbourne.
Overtime may be available on weekends.
Maintenance includes regular, preventative and scheduled servicing, repairs and both minor and major refurbishments, maintaining and replacing wheel bearings, brakes, checking lights and other truck components and completing paperwork.
To be successful, applicants must have proven experience working in an automotive workshop. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while meeting all the OH&S regulations, have good written and verbal communication skills and be confident to work unsupervised.
