The Role
We are seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist for our Service Centre in Kewdale, PERTH. The position will see you be involved with both workshop and onsite repairs and installations of industrial gearboxes as well as general fitting duties.
As a Fitter Machinist you will demonstrate a strong personal commitment to Health & Safety, be hardworking, honest and have a high standard of workmanship. You will need to be flexible as there will be a requirement to complete Overtime and shift work when requested.

Essential Criteria
- Australian recognised trade qualifications as a Fitter Machinist
- Must have experience in industrial gearbox equipment – repairs, maintenance and on-site service work & installations
- Must have current Forklift Licence, Dogging/Rigging Licence
- Must be licenced/competent in use of Overhead pendant crane operation
- Must have current Drivers Licence
- Knowledge and experience in the operation of hydraulic press equipment, Oxy Cutting equipment, Manual Machining equipment such as lathes, grinders and milling machines.
- Must have experience in using High Tolerance measuring equipment
- Must have experience in fitting bearings and components through heat induction processes, making and fitting drive keys for shafts and couplings
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and relevant information
- Ensuring our HSE & QA systems and procedures are adhered to and documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Ability to pass a functional assessment including drug and alcohol screen
