Located at Two Wells, north of Adelaide, in South Australia, Perfection Two Wells is Australia's largest glasshouse facility employing over 400 people on 35.4 hectares. With capacity to produce up to 17,000,000kgs of tomatoes annually and growing over 14 varieties, Perfection supplies around 20% of Australia's tomatoes. The site uses cutting-edge glasshouse technologies from Holland and utilises innovative packing systems
We currently have opportunities for experienced Trades Assistants who have backgrounds in preventative maintenance (PM) and breakdowns to join our busy Maintenance Team. Specifically, these roles will form part of our Pull Out team. This involves ensuring plant equipment is maintained and operational, a Thursday to Monday roster and working closely with the Maintenance team and other key members of staff, servicing other maintenance tasks across our large facility.
Key responsibilities:
- Glass repairs (working at heights);
- Ensure plant equipment is maintained and operational;
- Prioritise repairs through MEX and preventative maintenance schedules;
- Provide support within the maintenance team to improve reliability of the facility and equipment;
- Perform daily inspections as per the schedule;
- Record daily meter readings.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Two or more years’ experience working as a Trades Assistant or equivalent position;
- Flexible with work hours and days;
- Have excellent problem-solving skills;
- Have a 'can do' attitude with the ability to work autonomously;
- Have a focus on quality control and 'pride in job' mentality;
- Have current White Card, High-Risk Licenses and C class driver's license;
- Familiar and experienced with CMMS (Computerised maintenance management system).
