The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 8 HV Electricians to join the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) Conversion Project at our Welshpool branch. Reporting to the AHS Leading Hand and Project Manager, roles will be responsible for converting a fleet of 830E trucks for autonomous haulage. The project is expected to commence mid-September to early-October 2018 with a minimum of 29 trucks confirmed at this current point of time.

The knowledge, skills and abilities we're looking for

• Current Driver's Licence
  
• A grade Electrical licence - HV Switching Ticket desirable
  
• First Aid | High Risk Forklift | EWP | Rigging & Dogging | Working at Heights (All highly desirable)
  
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the design and function of Komatsu mining equipment
  
• A demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised and in remote areas
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good understanding of computer systems
  
• Air-con and Auto Electrical experience and/or qualifications will be highly regarded
  
• National Police Clearance
