Diesel Mechanic role within Local Government organisation in Ipswich
Your new company
This local government organisation has been servicing the community for 50 years. They are one of Ipswich largest employers and they invest heavily in their employee’s and boast a fantastic work lifestyle balance. Currently they are seeing significant growth across the region in both population and infrastructure, due to this they are seeking to add a talented Diesel Mechanic to their team.
Your new role
In your new role you will be working as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic. Reporting directly to the day shift manager you will be responsible for minor servicing such as routine oil changes through to full engine rebuilds on trucks and small plant machinery. You will have significant experience in waste truck repairs and truck servicing.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will be required to make yourself available for day shift work, scope of hours will be 6am - 3pm. You will be a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with previous exposure to working on large waste trucks and plant vehicles. You will be required to hold construction white card and a HR licence and Forklift ticket is also mandatory in this role. You will enjoy working in a team environment, yet can work autonomously if needed.
