My client is seeking a customer focused, self-motivated, well organised team member with all round commercial acumen. The successful applicant will deliver high quality customer service with both internal and external clients, developing good working relationship with customers, trades, sub-contractors and Insurance Companies.

The focus of the Project Co-ordinator is to take responsibility for the project management on a day to day basis around all claims and associated documentation and files within the assigned portfolio. You will be a central liaison point for a portfolio of projects and all associated with the claim.

Working within all Insurance companies guidelines meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) including compiling formal updates, regular communication with all property owners and all trades involved. Working predominately in Melbourne's wider Northern and Western suburbs in your company provided vehicle this role involves daily travel to job sites.

To be successful you will have the ability to provide excellent customer service and successfully manage customer expectations and complaints. Your administrative and organisational skills are vital to ensure all tasks are managed correctly, clearly communicated and recorded against the project. As such you must be able to work without supervision, as well as in a team oriented collaborative environment. Have clear written and verbal communication skills also have strong listening and relationship building skills.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Task Management
  • Appointment setting and diary management
  • Data management
  • Management of quotes, invoices, variations and discrepancies
  • Management of Job specifics, allocating trades and equivalent hours worked/assigned
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Audit completion of claims to conform to the property owner requirements.
  • Attend regular project management meetings and other meetings set by Management.
  • Address all issues as they arise, consulting relevant trades on cause and possible solutions.

Our clients head office is based in Melbourne's South East where you'll spend one day a month. As you will will be mainly working remotely you are able to work in your home office.
