You will:

• Be involved with all areas of machine maintenance, including component replacement, component overhaul, general repairs, fault diagnosis, PM servicing and daily inspections
• Be flexible with work hours,  with overtime required during peak periods
• Ensure planned repairs are executed within time and cost estimates
• Be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions
• Be committed to a procedure based preventative maintenance

Applicants must have:

• Trade certificate with post trade experience (Diesel Fitter)
• Experience in the Mining, Construction and Earthmoving industry
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and functional assessment
• A current valid QLD drivers licence

Applicants who possess the following in addition to their trade qualification will be highly regarded:

• Experience in the mining/civil industry
• High focus on safety
• Local candidates from Gladstone and surrounds preferred
