Fantastic opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our close-knit team at Stockland Salford Park!
Your Role
Bring your generalist maintenance experience to one of our villages, Stockland Salford Park Based in Wantirna, you can beat the traffic rush and are sure to be kept on your toes as you assist across a variety of hands-on tasks! Key responsibilities will include:
- Identify and undertake preventative maintenance works
- Completing minor internal repairs in units including electrical, plumbing and painting needs
- Clean & maintain areas of common property, including outdoor patios, verandas outdoor furniture, footpaths, pedestrian crossings and barbeques
- Act on urgent requisitions or critical/safety maintenance items
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families, through delivery of outstanding service
About You
You will have previous general maintenance experience, carpentry/building knowledge highly desired, and be confident in your ability to turn your hand to a variety of tasks. You will also have some knowledge and understanding around computer systems. Importantly, you will show excellent attention to detail, be able to manage your time effectively without direction and take pride in delivering outstanding work. Additionally, you will be genuinely interested in working with the elderly and be at ease interacting with a wide variety of people.
To be eligible for this role, you must hold an appropriate drivers licence and ability/willingness to drive a 12 seater bus if required
