The role
Located in our Beresfield workshop reporting to the workshop team leader you primary function will be to strip, assess and rebuild a range of FLSmidth mineral processing equipment. FLSmidth requires our workshop team members to be focus driven with innovative work skills and a strong desire for realistic outcomes. Workshop team members work within a close team environment, providing leadership and hands on support to both the full time and part time staff.
All permanent Fitters are employed on the basis that they will undertake site work supporting the site services team when required
Your profile
To qualify for this position, you must have as a minimum, the following:
- Qualified Mechanical Fitter Worker with Trade Certificate issued by an accredited institution
- Must have demonstrated 5 years experience as a qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Experience in manufacturing/repairing mineral process equipment
- General experience in fabricating in a workshop environment
